 Established in 1842, the fort has witnessed its share of human tragedy so perhaps it is not surprising that paranormal activity is associated with this site.

 The Scottish Rite Temple on Main St stands on the site of an old cemetery. Although the cemetery was moved in 1860, some bodies still remain buried under the temple.

Crawford St House - High Activity |

 The house was built in 1876 by Morris Cohen who was mayor of Fort Scott in 1878.
The owners report almost regular activity since moving in: the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs, something heavy being dragged around in an unfurnished upstairs bedroom and voices of a man and a woman have been heard.
